オンラインで女性キャストの「オイディプス王」を演じます。

This month’s Amaterasu Za Salon is an online-streaming staged-reading of ‘Oedipus Rex' by Sophocles with an all-female cast. The play has been adapted and directed by Ako Dachs in Japanese with English Subtitles.  The production will be available for viewing on Youtube between Friday, September 4th at 8 pm (EST) and Sunday, September 6th at 10 pm. The cast includes Akiko Fujiwara, Rina Maejima, Nobuko Okamoto, Urara Mio, and Ako. This all-female Oedipus Rex will be about one hour. There will be a ZOOM party beginning at about 9 pm following the first performance on September 4th. For access to the production please make a tax-deductible contribution of $5 or more here and links for the production and the opening night party will be emailed to you. Amaterasu Za is 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. Your tax-deductible donation will help pay the actors for this project and support upcoming productions in 2021 when theaters are open once again.
