A Celebration of 150 years Proudly Displayed in Blandford
On the 16th July The Lodge of Honour and Friendship 1266 held a meeting in the Corn Exchange in Blandford to celebrate 150 years.
The Brethren ‘Masonically strolled’ through the streets of Blandford bathed in the warm Dorset sunshine ending at the Corn Exchange which had been transformed into a lodge room.
A 1st degree ceremony was professionally, skilfully and sincerely delivered by Graham Glazier The Provincial Grand Master Of Dorset to the lodges latest member, Andy, assisted by a full provincial team and witnessed by nearly 100 Brethren including many high ranking past officers in the province.
A history of the lodge was also presented by Mark, Toby, Paul and Andy W, which was interesting and very informative.
After the ceremony the Brethren reconvened at the Blandford Masonic Centre where everyone was involved in a lively evening with over £650 being raised for charity.
