Popular Japanese comedian Ken Shimura has died from the coronavirus, becoming Japan's first known celebrity victim of the disease. He was 70.
Shimura, who attracted fans of all generations with his slapstick comedy and funny faces that was inspired by American comedic icon Jerry Lewis, had been treated at a Tokyo hospital and died on Sunday, according to his agency, Izawa Office.
He was diagnosed with pneumonia after contracting the coronavirus. On March 20 he was hospitalized after developing a fever and breathing troubles, and was put on on a ventilator.

日本に比べたら 厳戒態勢のこの国 ・・・家籠りも2週間程
1日1回の散歩と週１に出かける買い出し＆週１のMissionでの庭仕事（可なり持て余し気味の日々）
なので趣味の再開です。
先週から始めたのは パッチワーク作業・・・端切れ布の処分を兼ねて
布を切ってはチクチク針仕事
縫い合わせたら 切り端をハサミでチョキチョキ・・・大量な数なのでこれが、また大仕事です。
時々並べてみては 色のチェックし 欲しい色の布を決めピースカットの繰り返し
今回のキルト ピンクとブルーをメインカラーに決めたけど
まだ何に仕上げるか決めてません。
このまま逝くとべットサイズになりそうな・・・・
兎に角、布遊びが楽しい家籠りです。
