5/25にアメリカのミネアポリスで黒人男性(ジョージ・フロイドさん)が警察官に押さえつけられ死亡する痛ましい事件が起きました。これが人種差別に基づく事件だという抗議の対象となり、全米でデモや暴動が発生しています。
アメリカでは以前からたびたび白人警官による黒人への暴行や不可解な射殺事件などが続いており、また、ここ数年でもトランプ大統領が就任してから白人至上主義者の活動が活発になったことなどから人種間の対立が表面化することがたびたび起きています。
今回の騒動の行方は今のところ不透明ですが、「人種差別にNO!」とはっきり発言する著名人や企業などの声が届いていますので紹介したいと思います。随時更新予定ですが、メモ程度なのでわかりにくくてすみません。
