Update on my daughter's growth (three years old)!
今回は、３歳になりました娘の成長記録です！
（半年前の様子 My post half a year ago）
11月に前回のブログでは通っていた保育園から、自宅近くの保育園に移った娘。
ようやく事態を悟れる歳になったからなのか、慣らし保育の初日は泣き叫んで大変
でしたが、１週間も経ったら急速に順応していきました。
Last November, she was transferred to a nearby nursery school from the one she went at the time the post above. Now being mature enough to understand what was going on, she screamed a lot on day 1 but adjusted quickly to the new environment.
今ではすっかり自己主張も一人前にするように
最近本人がハマってることとしては以下の３つがあります。
She likes to express her own opinion and make an argument. These three things below are her favorites.
①とにかく大人と同じことを。 - Just the same as adults! -
箸を持つ、トイレに行く、料理する、絵を描く・・・とにかく真似したいお年頃です。
それで失敗することもありますが、任せることが大切なのでまずはトライさせています。
Using chopsticks, going to the restroom, cooking, drawing ... really interested in imitating what we do. Although not free of making mistakes, we let her give a try so that she would have a sense of ownership.
②絵本 - Reading picture books -
大体２週間に１度は図書館に行って１０冊新しい本を借りてきて、それを毎晩寝る前に読むのが日課になっています。
今年に入ってからでしょうか、少しずつ文字にも興味を持ち始めてきたよう。ただ、まだ時間がかかりそうなのでゆっくり学んでいるところです。
Every two weeks, we go to the nearby library and almost always check out ten new books, which she reads every night before going to bed. Starting from last month, she got intrigued by letters, but I just wanna her to pace herself without teaching it in a haste.
③ぬいぐるみ遊び - Playing with dolls -
お気に入りのうさぎのぬいぐるみがあるのですが、それを抱っこしながら「今bunnyは泣いてるんだよ」「寝てるから静かにね」とやったり、昨日は保育園で誕生日会があったのを受けて、象とザリガニと熊のぬいぐるみを出してお誕生日会を１人で開催していました
While holding her lifetime friend, bunny, she often warns us that "now the bunny is crying" or "please be quiet as she is now asleep." Yesterday, she pulled out elephant, robster and bear dolls and started celebrating their birthday on her own (certainly because she had a bday party in school on that day).

英語については「ウツボ」を英語で言えるなど語彙的には中々いいのですが、やはり文章にするのに苦心しています。
でも、保育園に行く途中に木の数を英語で一緒に数えたりしたら、３０まで英語で言えるようになっていたりするので、上手く好奇心のスイッチを押してあげられたらいいなと
あとは英語と日本語の切り替えをするように、「英語で言うと？」と投げかけているのですが、「dangerousくない！」など独自の言葉を発明しています（笑）まあ徐々にですね・・・
As for English, her vocaburary is fantastic as she can even name a moray. However, she has difficulty in making sentences. But I need more work to push her bottom of curisosity. For example, after we counted the number of the trees on our way to school, she learned to count until 30 in English. I'm also trying to make her switch from Japanese to English by throwing a question of "say it in English?" but she sometimes ended up with mixing both. Knowing it's a long way to go...
それと、実は４月に第二子が産まれるのですが、本人の心情の変化として、「お姉ちゃんになる」というのがあるようです。
ことあるごとに、「〇〇ちゃん（自分の名前）はお姉ちゃんになるんだよ」「赤ちゃんは歩けないんだよ」などと言っています
弟が産まれてどうなることやら・・・それは次のブログでまた紹介できればと思います
And actually my wife is expecting another baby, which made my daughter getting a sense of becoming a big sister. Frequently she boasts, "I'll be a big sister" and "the baby cannot walk (unlike me)." What happens after birth? Let's in the next post.
ひとまずは大きな病気や事故なく３歳を迎えられたことに感謝です。自由で寛大にこれからも育ちますように
So grateful to the fact that she turned three without a big disease or accident. Wish you a life filled with freedom and tolerance!
