I've always been a stationery enthusiast ... or rather, a notebook enthusiast.
In particular, when I was a teenager, "system notebooks" began to become popular, and I took advantage of the worldwide popularity of Filofax.
When I was trying out various refills, a word processor started to appear, and Canon released a toner-type copier for personal use called Family Copier (however, A4 size analog copy was made and the price was 120,000 yen!). I designed the original refill using the tool of, and copied it to a plain refill and used it.
By the time I used the Macintosh, I used to print out on plain A4 paper with trim marks, cut it with a utility knife, and make 6 holes in it to refill it.
I also used an A4 6-hole personal organizer represented by Time / System, and I also used a mini-sized 6-hole personal organizer.
The reason why I have settled down on my A4 personal organizer these days is because of the ease of making refills.
Please refer to the related blog entry at the end of this entry.
The truth is, it's decided that a small notebook that's easy to carry around is good. It's best to carry it in your pocket or small pouch. However, due to the "difficulty of making refills" and "thickness" of the 6-hole mini personal organizer, although it was close to the size I was looking for most, the period of regular use was short.
Even when I was using my A4 personal organizer regularly, I actually carried a Rollbahn Mini as a pocket memo.
This is enough for a notebook to actually carry around, but there was a drawback that it was not possible to make (sandwich) a self-made refill.
Since I got the Phomemo I wrote in my previous blog entry, I've been able to apply it and make heavy use of the Rollbahn Mini.
The combination of Rollbahn Mini and Phomemo seems to be a great match, and when I google it, I get a lot of hits.
Especially, it is convenient for "writing big and carrying small".
You can print out and paste what you took with Phomemo's "scan" function into your notebook that you always carry with you. There is no problem if you digitally save it in Evernote etc. so that you can see "big things" as needed, even if the characters are too small to read.
And ...
For Weekly and Monthly, you can't replace the refills like a personal organizer, but if you print out a form of the size suitable for the Rollbahn Mini with Phomemo and paste it, you can record in chronological order or for a week.
I put Weekly on a page at the beginning of the week so that the next page will work as a "notebook" for the week. If you have something to write for the next week's Weekly, you can print it out and put it in Rollbahn's "end pocket".
I will attach a form of just the right size to the Rollbahn Mini, so if you are thinking of trying it out, feel free to use it.
