「令和時代のツーリズム空間～地域戦略のまなざし～」

"Space of Tourism in Reiwa Era -Vision of Regional Strategy-"

元号が令和に改まり、2020年の東京オリンピック・パラリンピックや2024年の大阪万博など、日本の新時代を象徴する国際行事の準備が進んでいる。ホストシティである東京や大阪には、前回の1960年代の高速道路やインフラの整備とは異なるポスト成長期にふさわしい開発のあり方が求められている。国内参加を念頭においた商業的なツーリズムから、国際的なツーリズムの一環として防災や環境の視点からの対応も希求されている。また、急速な発展を見せるAI、ICT、IoT技術を下支えとした新たな空間情報サービスの提供も取り組むべき新たな課題の柱となっている。本シンポジウムでは、新たな展開を予感させるこうした動きに対し、ツーリズムや地域おこしなど関連研究分野をリードする日本の若手地理学者からその地域戦略としての意義を語ってもらう。
Our new era “Reiwa” has come and its symbolic international events of Japan such as Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020 and Osaka Expo in 2025 are now on preparation. As host cities, Tokyo and Osaka need suitable development in their post growing period which are different from 1960s. Not only the domestic commercial tourism but also the international tourism, which focus on disaster prevention and environment, have to be considered. Providing new spatial information services based on the rapid growing ICT technologies is one important issue. In this symposium, leading young Japanese geographers will show new vision of regional strategy for this new era.
