How's your life treating you?
感謝祭ウィークは、急な予定変更もあったので、忙しいながらもとっても楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。
On Thanksgiving weekend, we needed to change a part of our plan in the last minute and made things a little busier but had a great time.
いつものようにその様子は後ほどお伝えするとして、今日もまだまだ暖かかった夏の頃のお話。
As always, I'm going to talk about it later and today, I'd like to share another fun day that I had last summer again.
結婚記念日があった8月のこの週、結構楽しいイベントでスケジュールが詰まっていました。
On the week of our 9th anniversary, we had a lot of fun events and were busy.
そして、この週の金曜日から土曜日にかけて、Andyっちのパパママのお家に泊りに行きました。
On the weekend, we went to Dad&Mom's house and stayed over at their house Friday night.
ブラッド君の誕生日が7月、パパのお誕生日が8月だったので、遅ればせながらも土曜日に一緒にお祝いする予定だったんです。
Brad's birthday was in July and Dad's was in August, so it was a little belated, but we're going to celebrate it together on Saturday.
まず、最初にパパママの家から5分くらいの所に住んでいるお友達夫婦、リアナ＆パトリックのお家に遊びに行きました。
First off, we stopped by our friends, Rheanna&Patrick's house which's only 5mins away from Dad&Mom's house.
というのも、めいが色んな人に会って人見知りをしないようにする為、リアナ＆パトリックにめいを翌朝まで預かってもらう事になってました。
We actually had asked them to watch May-chan overnight at their house since it's good way to teach May-chan that it's okay to be with other people than us.
何か、めいの顔が今と違って面白い。(笑)

私達も少し時間を過ごして、リアナがめいの気を引いてくれている間に家を出ました。
We spent some time at their house and left while Rheanna was distracting May-chan.
で、土曜日にAndyっちはパパママの家でお得意のリブを作る予定だったんですが、何と、何と、準備していたお肉を家に忘れてくるというハプニング！(笑)
Andy was actually planning to make ribs on Saturday, but we forgot the most important ingredient, the meat, at our house! Oops!!
なので、パパママの家の近くのお肉屋さんに行ったんですが、悲しいかな、リブ用のお肉が売り切れ～。
So, we swang by this butcher shop near Dad&Mom's house, but sad news again, they're out of baby back ribs! Dang.
結局近くのスーパーで購入して一件落着。
After all, we ended up 2 racks of ribs at a grocery store nearby.
で、金曜日のこの日、Hit-chanがすっごく楽しみにしていたのが、いつも髪を切ってもらっているミカちゃんとのデート。
And the most exciting plan that I looked forward that Friday night was a girl's date with Mika-chan who's my friend and hair stylist.
お互いの家が車で40-45分くらいかかるので、髪を切ってもらう時はAndyっちに運転してもらえるものの、中々自分で運転して遊びに行くということが難しいんですよねぇ。
We live 40-45mins away from each other's house, so it's kind of challenging for me to drive all over to visit her unless Andy drives there when we get a haircut at her salon together.
ミカちゃんの仕事場まで行き、仕事終わりの彼女を待って、合流。
Anyways, I met up with her at the salon after her work.
で、ミカちゃんお薦めのレストランへ。。。
Then, Mika-chan recommended this restaurant.
お仕事お疲れ～。やっとデートできたね。(笑)
How's your day? We finally hung out together!
本当、こうやってゆっくり話ができるのが嬉しかった～。
I was super happy that we could have plenty of time to talk about so many random things.
ミカちゃんはいつものお気に入りのムール貝が無かったので、パスタ。ミカちゃんからちょっともらったけど、美味しかったよ！
They unfortunately didn't have mussels whcih Mika-chan's favorite at the resutant that night, so she ordered this pasta. I took a bite of it, and it was pretty good!
Hit-chanは野菜不足気味だったのでサラダにしました。
I was lack of veggis in my diet at the time so ordered this salad. It was very good too.
食後はコーヒー。美味しかった～。
We had coffee after dinner too.
楽しいディナーの後、車を停めてある所に戻る途中。。。
After the fun dinner, on the way to the parking lot where we both parked our cars...,
ミカちゃんがジャンプ写真を撮ってくれた。5回くらい跳んだっけ？(笑)
We did a jump photo! Mika-chan kindly shot this, but we took 5time or so to succeed. Haha.
後は、White Bear Lakeのダウンタウンに詳しいミカちゃんにインスタ映えするスポットにも連れて行ってもらいました。（インスタしてないけど。笑）
We also walked around downtown White Bear Lake a little bit, and Mika-chan showed me this pretty garden which is perfect for posting on instagram. (I don't do instagram though. Haha)
でね、ミカちゃんからお誘いを頂いて、この後急遽ミカちゃんのお家にまでお邪魔して、めちゃくちゃ楽しい時間を過ごさせてもらいました。
Then, Mika-chan nicely invited me to her house, and we had super fun and chatty night together there.
いつもは髪を切ってもらう間だけしか話せなかったんですが、こうやってミカちゃんと一緒に食事をしたり、街を歩いたりしたら、今まで知らなかったミカちゃんの魅力が垣間見えて、益々好きになっちゃいました。
（だって、レストランで演奏していたおじさんにササっとチップをあげたり、お店のドアを開けるのに苦労していたおばあちゃんをさりげなく助けてあげたりしちゃうんだよ。Hit-chanなんて、おばあちゃんがいた事さえも気づいてなかったのに。爆）
Until the first date, we only had a short time to enjoy chatting while she cut my hair, but this date showed me more of Mika-chan's wonderful character, and I got to like her more and more.
(She generously tipped a music guy who was playing at the restaurant and helped an old lady who was struggling to open a shop door with her cart. She just did such nice things very casually like doing not a big thing. Me? I even didn't notice the grandma at all.)
めいをAndyっちに見てもらってたら、こうやって長い時間遊んでいるのは気が引けたかもしれないけど、めいはリアナ＆パトリックのお家。
I would have felt sorry for Andy to hang out for a long time if he was watching May-chan by himself, but May-chan was at Rheanna&Patrick's house that night.
なので、本当に久しぶりに羽を伸ばして夜遊びをさせてもらって、とっても良いリフレッシュになりました。
So, I could enjoy the night jsut as the way I wanted, and it's super refreshing and fun.
という訳で、ミネソタで出会った素敵な友達に感謝、感謝です！
Okay, I'm really grateful that I could meet such a sweet and cute friend here in MN! Thank you!!

We spent some time at their house and left while Rheanna was distracting May-chan.

ミカちゃんはいつものお気に入りのムール貝が無かったので、パスタ。ミカちゃんからちょっともらったけど、美味しかったよ！
