お義父さんの浮気を目撃してしまったショックだけでなく、
それに対して平然な態度のトムに　さらにショックを受けるリネット。

もやもやがずっと消えず、その日の夜トムにこう打ち明けます。
You knew he was having a affair and it didn't bother you.
And that worries me because if you condone something like that,
then what's gonna happen when you've been on the road for 40 years?
(あなたは父親の浮気を平然と受け止めてる
そんな人が出張続きの生活をしたら　どうなるかと心配なの）

condone =　[罪・過失を]　許す、容赦する、見逃す、多めに見る

on the road = 出張で、旅行中で、遠征中で

字幕は大分省略されていますが、あなたもお義父さんと同じように出張続きの生活で、
40年後同じようになってしまうんじゃないか心配だ、というリネット。
これに対してトムは、「 僕は親父と違う　」　と言いいます。

リネットは「確かに。言っとくけど私もお義母さんとは違う。浮気されたら別れるから」
と言って、胸のうちを吐き出したことで満足してぐっすり眠るのでした。

こうやってもやもやしている気持ちをきちんと吐き出す夫婦っていいですね！
トムはこの夜眠れなくなってしまうのですが。笑
