Shelley : Yeah, well, lucky for us, um... Okay, so let's talk about 'Rush', because that was the first song, um... You said, it was the first time you've ever done choreo, yeah. How that's you're so bodying it like you're such a natural.
シェリー：そうね、すばらしいわ。では、「Rush」について話してみようかしら。最初の曲ね。コレオ（振付）をやったのはこれが初めてだとおっしゃったわね。でも、とても自然な動きだったわ。
Sivan : Thank you very much. You know, that's been one of the highlights of my year, I think, was like realizing that I love to dance like really I do, I think, for me, I was always, you know, you just have those things that you tell yourself about yourself where it's like, oh, that person pull off that outfit but I could never or like you know I can't dance or whatever. I just decided that I wasn't going to like listen to that voice, because I really wanted to give it a go and try, and so, I found out that I absolutely love to do it. So now, like the only times I've ever done choreo was we did like two days rehearsal for 'Rush'. And then, I think, it was like four days of rehears rehearsal for 'Got Me Started'. And now I'm like the album's out, and I'm like, Okay, I'm guess I'm going to start going to like a class
like, because I want to keep doing it, so.
シヴァン：どうもありがとう。 ぼくにとっては、今年のハイライトの一つだった。本当にダンスが好きなんだということに、気づいたんだ。あの人なら着こなせる衣装だけど、ぼくには無理だとか、ぼくにダンスなんてそもそも無理なんだとか、自分に言い聞かせてた。でも、そういう声には耳を貸さないことにしたんだ。本当に、試してみたいと思ったからさ。そして、ぼくは、ダンスが大好きなんだって気づいた。 ぼくが、これまでにコレオ（振付）をやったのは、「Rush」のリハーサルを2日間やったときと、それから、4日間にわたる「Got Me Started」のリハーサルのときだけさ。そして今、アルバムが出て、「よし、このクラスが、好きになってきた。ずっと、やり続けていたいかな」と思うようになった。
Shelley : Oh, like a dance class?
シェリー：ダンスのクラスみたいな感じなの？
Sivan : Like I don't want to stop, it's so much fun, I don't want to only do it, when it's for a music video.

Shelley : Dude, I love that. Are you like when you when you go when you party? Are you like a dancer do you get down?

Shelley : You sampled, the like that Meme, that was going around like 10 years ago.

Sivan : That sample for me represented that time in my life and those memories, and so, I kind of knew about the memes, but like, I didn't know that was going to be the sort of association that people made with the song, so um... yeah, I was kind of surprised to be honest, that it's like the meme song to people. But I I've always thought, it was like such a beautiful melody, and I think the sound is so sick that they used, um... so yeah, I love it.
シヴァン：ぼくにとっては、ぼくの人生のある時期の思い出を書いた曲なんだ。ミームについてはある程度知ってたけど、この曲が、そういった関連付けをされるとは思ってなかった。 そうだね、正直に言うと、みんなにとってミームソングのように扱われたので、ちょっと驚いた。でもね、ずっと思ってたんだけど、とても美しいメロディーのようでいて、サウンドがとても気持ち悪いなって。ああ、そうさ、大好きなんだけどね。
Shelley : Yeah, it's so great when a song is done, and I think it's kind of cool that you know, besides, it being like sounding really good people have an association with it, like makes them love it even more. Because it's now it feels a little bit nostalgic for people who you know, who were like really like pumped on it back, then. How do you know when a song is done?
シェリー：そうね、曲が完成したときは本当に素晴らしいし、すごくクールね。それに、本当に良いサウンドなら、みんながその曲に共感して、さらにその曲を好きになるような気がするわ。 当時ミームソングですごく盛り上がっていた人たちにとっては、ちょっと懐かしい感じがする曲ね。 曲が完成したことは、どうやってわかるのかしら?
Sivan : So I know when it's done, I don't know when it's done like, I just, I feel like, I just know, you know, I'll have a little to-do list in my head. I'm like, Okay, we have to change the drum in it's when you listen to it, and it just, from beginning to end, feels right, I don't know, you know, if you haven't, if I'm listening to it, and or if I play it for someone, and I can feel that their energy dips at a certain point. I'm like, we need to fix something in like the top of the second verse. But I just don't know what it is. You go into the studio, and you try a bunch of stuff, and then, when it's done, it's like done. um... The other thing that was really nice about this album, was I had a long, I made it over a long period of time. So it 'Got Me Started' was like, one of the first songs that we wrote for the album. I wrote for, like two more years basically. And I was at the end of the album process, and still listening to 'Got Me Started' as much as I was, when I wrote it, and I was like, okay, work like we need to, that one's got to, come on, you know.(To be continued to part 3)
シヴァン：曲が、いつ終わるかについてはね。頭の中に、ちょっとしたやるべきことリストを作ってみるんだ。そう、ドラムを変えなきゃいけないとかね。聴いてみて、最初から最後まで、正しい感じがするかどうかさ。それを聴いていて、あるいは演奏してみて、ある時点で、エネルギーが低下するのを感じた場合は、2番のヴァースの上あたりを修正する必要があるような気がするけど、どう変えようとかね。 スタジオに入って、たくさんのことを試して、それが終わったら、終わったような気分になるんだ。このアルバムで、本当に良かったもう一つの点は、長い時間をかけて作ったということさ。「Got Me Started」は、このアルバムで書いた、最初の曲の1つだった。 アルバム制作に入る前から、2年くらいかけて、ずっと書いてきたんだ。 そしてぼくは、アルバムの制作プロセスの終盤になったときも、この曲を書いた当時と同じくらい、まだ「Got Me Started」を聞きかえしていた。そして、やっと「分かった、ついに、そのときが来た」という気がしたんだ。(パート３に続く)

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record – Sivan’s first in five years – scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.
