イザヤ書６２章
シオンのために私は平安を保ち、エルサレムのために私は休むことがありません。
2 そして、諸国民はあなたの勝利を見、すべての王はあなたの栄光を見ます。
3 あなたはまた主の御手に美しい冠となり、あなたの神の開かれた御手に王家の髪飾りとなります。
4 あなたはもはや見捨てられた者と呼ばれず、また、あなたの地はもはや荒れ地と呼ばれず、あなたは「私の喜びは彼女にあり、あなたの地はエスポスされた」と呼ばれます。
5 若者が乙女を抱き上げるように、あなたの子孫達はあなたを抱き上げるでしょう。
また、花婿が花嫁を喜ぶように、あなたの神はあなたを喜ばせるであろう。
6 エルサレムよ！私はあなたの城壁に見張りを置きました。
彼らは昼も夜もその安らかさを保つことができません。
7 主が定められ、エルサレムを地の誉とされるまで、休むことなく、主に向かって進みなさい！
8 主はその右の御手と、力の御腕によって誓われました。
私はもはやあなたの穀物を敵の食物とせず、あなたが労苦して得たあなたのぶどう酒を、よそ者が飲むことはない。
9 しかし、これを刈り取った者はこれを食べて主をほめたたえ、これを集めた者はわが聖所の中庭でこれを飲むであろう。
10 あなたは門をくぐり、民の道を開き、道を打ち建て、石を拾い集め、民の上に旗を掲げなさい！
11 見よ！主は地の果てにまで宣べ伝えられ、あなたがたはシオンの娘にこう言います。
「見よ！あなたの救いは来た。見よ！その報いは彼とともにあり、その報いは彼の前にある。」
12 そして、彼らは彼らを聖なる民、主が贖われたものと呼び、あなたは探し出され、見捨てられない町と呼ばれるでしょう。
1 シオンのために、私は黙っていない。エルサレムのために、黙りこまない。その義が朝日のように光を放ち、その救いが、たいまつのように燃えるまでは。
2 そのとき、国々はあなたの義を見、すべての王があなたの栄光を見る。あなたは、主の口が名づける新しい名で呼ばれよう。
3 あなたは主の手にある輝かしい冠となり、あなたの神の手のひらにある王のかぶり物となる。
4 あなたはもう、「見捨てられている」と言われず、あなたの国はもう、「荒れ果てている」とは言われない。かえって、あなたは「私の喜びは、彼女にある」と呼ばれ、あなたの国は夫のある国と呼ばれよう。主の喜びがあなたにあり、あなたの国が夫を得るからである。
5 若い男が若い女をめとるように、あなたの子孫達はあなたをめとり、花婿が花嫁を喜ぶように、あなたの神はあなたを喜ぶ。
6 エルサレムよ。私はあなたの城壁の上に見張り人を置いた。昼の間も、夜の間も、彼らは決して黙っていてはならない。主に覚えられている者たちよ。黙りこんではならない。
7 主がエルサレムを堅く立て、この地でエルサレムを栄誉とされるまで、黙っていてはならない。

For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her triumph go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a torch that burneth.
2 And the nations shall see thy triumph, and all kings thy glory; and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall mark out.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the open hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate; but thou shalt be called, My delight is in her, and thy land, Espoused; for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.
5 For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, they shall never hold their peace day nor night: 'Ye that are the LORD'S remembrancers, take ye no rest,
7 And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.'
8 The LORD hath sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength: Surely I will no more give thy corn to be food for thine enemies; and strangers shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured;
9 But they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD, and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.
10 Go through, go through the gates, clear ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway, gather out the stones; lift up an ensign over the peoples.
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth: say ye to the daughter of Zion: 'Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.'
12 And they shall call them the holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and thou shalt be called Sought out, a city not forsaken.
