名前は知らない。もう何百回も言った通り・・・
I don’t know his name. Like I’ve told already a hundred…
ルリンディル：
規則は知ってるな。質問に答えるだけでいいんだ。

それで、その名無しの老人はどこにいるんだ？
And where can we find this nameless old man?
エチエン・ラーニス：
さっきも言ったが、知らないんだ！ ラットウェイで見かけたことはある。
もしかしたらあそこに住んでるのかもしれないが、確かなことは分からない。
Like I said, I don’t know! I’ve seen him down in the Ratway.
Maybe he lives down there, but I don’t know for sure.
ルリンディル：
今のところ、それで全部だ。その非協力的な態度には相変わらず失望している。次はもっと協力してくれることを願おう。

エチエン・ラーニス：

エチエン・ラーニス：
言ったろ、その件については、他には何も知らない。
I told you, I don’t know anything else about it.
主人公：
拷問するために来たわけじゃない。
I’m not here to torture you.
エチエン・ラーニス：
何だって？ じゃあ・・・何が望みだ？
What? Who… what, what do you want then?
主人公：
説明している時間はない。ここから出よう。
No time to explain. Let’s get out of here.
エチエン・ラーニス：
ああ、そうだな。よし分かった。
Yeah, sure, okay.
エチエン・ラーニス：
さあ、こっちだ。看守が死体を片付けるのに使っているのを見たことがある。どこかに通じているはずだ
Come on, this way. I’ve seen the guards use it to get rid of bodies. It must lead somewhere.
主人公：
先に行け。自分はここでまだやることがある。
You go ahead. I’m not done here.
エチエン・ラーニス：
分かった。助けてくれてありがとう、借りができたな。うまく脱出できたらリフテンで会おう。
No problem. Thanks for springing me, I owe you. Look me up in Riften if you make it out.
サルモール兵士Ａ：
よく聞け、スパイ！ お前はここに閉じ込められ、我々はお前の共犯者も捕らえた。
Listen up, spy! You’re trapped in here, and we have your accomplice.
サルモール兵士Ａ：
すぐに降伏しろ、さもなくば２人とも死ぬことになるぞ。
Surrender immediately or you both die.
マルボーン：
気にするな、俺はもう死んだも同然だ・・・
Never mind, I’m dead already-
サルモール兵士Ｂ：
黙れ、裏切り者！ 行け、ゆっくりとな。
Silence, traitor! Move. Slowly.
マルボーン：
これでサルモールに一生狙われ続けるだろうな。それだけの価値があったと願おう。
Now the Thalmor will be hunting me for the rest of my life. I hope it was worth it.
デルフィン：
どうにか生きて帰ってきたわね。
約束通り、あなたの装備は部屋で保管してあるわ。
You made it out alive, at least.

デルフィン：
何か役に立つものはあった？
Did you learn anything useful?
主人公：
サルモールはドラゴンについて何も知らない。
The Thalmor know nothing about the dragons.
デルフィン：
本当に？ 信じがたい話ね。確かなの？
Really? That seems hard to believe. You’re sure about that?
主人公：
ああ、間違いない。エズバーンという人物を探している。
Yes, I’m sure. They’re looking for someone named Esbern.
デルフィン：
エズバーン？ 生きているの？
何年も前にサルモールに捕まったと思ってたわ。あの偏屈老人・・・
Esbern? He’s alive? I thought the Thalmor must have got him years ago. That crazy old man…
デルフィン：
サルモールが彼を追うのは当然のことね、ドラゴンのことを調べようとしているのなら。
Figures the Thalmor would be on his trail, though, if they were trying to find out what’s going on with the dragons.
主人公：
サルモールは、エズバーンをどうしたいんだ？
What would the Thalmor want with Esbern?
デルフィン：
それはつまり、ブレイズを皆殺しにする目的以外で、ってこと？
You mean, aside from wanting to kill every Blade they can lay their hands on?
デルフィン：
エズバーンはブレイズの公文書記録係の一人だったの、大戦中にサルモールに潰される前のね。
Esbern was one of the Blades archivists, back before the Thalmor smashed us during the Great War.
デルフィン：
彼はブレイズに伝わる古代のドラゴン伝承に精通していたわ。
He knew everything about the ancient dragonlore of the Blades.
デルフィン：
本当にそれに夢中になっていたわ。当時は誰も気に留めなかった。
私達が思っていたほど、彼は変人ではなかったって事ね。
Obsessed with it, really. Nobody paid much attention back then.
I guess he wasn’t as crazy as we all thought.
主人公：
サルモールはブレイズがドラゴンのことを知っていると考えているんだな・・・
So the Thalmor think the Blades know about the dragons…
デルフィン：
皮肉よね？ 宿敵って、あらゆる災いが向こう側の陰謀に違いないと思い込んでしまうのよ・・・
Ironic, right? The old enemies assume that every calamity must be a plot by the other side…
デルフィン：
それはともかく、奴らより先にエズバーンを見つけなきゃ。
ドラゴンを止める方法を彼なら知っているはずよ。
Even so, we’ve got to find Esbern before they do.
He’ll know how to stop the dragons if anybody does.
デルフィン：
奴らは彼の居場所を知っているの？
Do they know where he is?
主人公：
奴らは彼がリフテンに隠れていると考えているようだ。
They seem to think he’s hiding out in Riften.
デルフィン：
リフテン？ それなら多分ラットウェイね。私ならそこに行くわ。
Riften, eh? Probably down in the Ratway, then. It’s where I’d go.
デルフィン：
リフテンに行ってブリンニョルフと話して。
彼は・・・いいコネを持ってるの。スタート地点としては悪くないはずよ。
You’d better get to Riften. Talk to Brynjolf.
He’s… well-connected. A good starting point at least.
デルフィン：
それと、エズバーンを見つけたら・・・私の考えすぎかもしれないけど・・・彼に信用してもらうのは苦労するかもしれない。
Oh, and when you find Esbern… if you think I’m paranoid… you may have some trouble getting him to trust you.
デルフィン：
降霜の月の30日にどこにいたかを尋ねてみて。それで通じるはずよ。
Just ask him where he was on the 30th of Frostfall. You’ll know what it means.
