Montgomery police investigating shooting in Carriage Hills neighborhood

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that happened last night in the Carriage Hills neighborhood.

Police told Action 8 News that at about 6:50PM, they and fire medics were called to the 3200 block of Covered Bridge Drive.

That’s where they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have released no other information.
