Jorinji (浄林寺) is a Jodo Shu Buddhist temple located next to Hie Jinja, a Shinto shrine, in the Nakajima District of Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture.
According to temple legend, it was founded in 1559.
This space was created by a self-proclaimed lazy bum living in the Shonan area—a coastal region along Sagami Bay in Kanagawa Prefecture, near Tokyo, Japan—to share various experiences and things that might be of interest.
